Welcome to the National Police Canine Association. NPCA was established in 1997, for the street working dog and is the best resource for the professional canine unit. NPCA is a 501C3 non-profit association dedicated to the training, development and certification of law enforcement canine teams and their administrations. Our association offers nationally accepted certifications throughout the year across the United States. We provide regional and national canine training seminars several times a year. NPCA provides leadership and canine administration training for all supervisory levels. We can help reduce your liability through expert courtroom testimony, current case law updates and legal defense assistance. NPCA has Trainers, Instructors, a Standards Committee and a Board of Directors with vast canine experience in all canine related aspects. NPCA provides and monitors an interactive, online chat group for all members to exchange vital information.

NPCA Booth at the H.I.T.S 2008 Seminar
Tim Norton, N.P.C.A.'s Event & Online Sales Director, will be at the H.I.T.S. 2008 Seminar in Denver, Colorado. Tim & his family will be operating the N.P.C.A. Merchandise Sales Booth on May 28th, 29th & 30th.
16th Annual ALECA K-9 Survival Seminar
On July 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2008, the Payson Police Department, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and the Gila County Sheriff’s Office will jointly host the 16th Annual A.L.E.C.A. K-9 Officer Survival Seminar.
EOD Section Update
The new EOD
section is now operational, including the Online EOD Test
that is mandatory to take for personnel who have applied to
become an NPCA EOD certifying official.

Northeast Regional K-9
Seminar will be held June 10th thru June 13th, 2008, in
Newark, Delaware. The first two days of the seminar will be
classroom work, followed by two days of certifications. The
seminar will be limited to the first 50 K-9 Teams who
